Noting wrong with your projector, its a simple settings issue on the laptop, you need to enable the external video output, on the laptop, you need to hold down the FN button and then press one of the F1 to F12 keys, sometimes its FN+F8 or F5, F4 you need to look at the keys, one of them will have a icon of a display or two or two boxes or similiar, if noting else, try them all.

When you find the button you may have to press it a few times to cycle over the different settngs such as, laptop display, laptop display + external, external only etc.

that should do it, you can also right click on the desktop and select properties, and then settings, on the settings page right click on the display 2 and select attach. that should also give signal to the external output.

Hi, please check the serial number of the fans that are supposed to be the same. They might be different in some way because otherwise, the error should not have occurred. If the products have the same serial number or similar type of id, then I would take the projector to geeksquad/bestbuy to double check that the new fan was installed properly. Thank you.
