Hi. We're having power

These are prone to power spikes...and for that reason have a fuse located on the power supply board...known as fast blow fuses...which are glass and easy to see if they have blown..sometimes all you need to do is replace the fuse on the rear of the unit if you can locate a fuse cap...just unscrew and replace....Always unplug televisions and audio equipment and routers during power outages and thunderstorms as a preventative to blowing psu panels on electrical devices connection to your house mains for this reason .

Hts3455 wot play dvd

That's because the Optical Pickup(the laser) has worn out of specification. When you insert the disc, the laser has to be able to read the TOC(table of contents) If it can't, it will think there is no disc in the unit, and fail to play it. You can confirm that the circuity is OK(for the most part) by trying a CD. I'm sure it will play that, as the laser has 2 parts,1 for CD and 1 for DVD.(the 2 discs use different wavelength light)

I just purchased a roku streaming stick HDMI. I'm suppose to plug it into the surround sound HDMI (in) and then plug another HDMI (out) to the TV. The problem is, the receiver only has 1 HDMI port (ou

I hear you. Don't modern, inexpensive products just tick you off? Here's the solution. You leave it plugged into the the TV in HDMI 2. Because the receiver only has an HDMI out connection, you will have to use the digital output from the TV(usually an Optical cable), and plug it into any input on the receiver that has an Optical input. When you switch to that input on the receiver, you should be set, however, if you still have no sound, most AV receivers have assignable inputs. You may have to go to the audio menu on the receiver, and reassign that particular input as digital, and not analog. If you need more assistance, it would be best to visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. and contact me there.Thank you.

If There is no power at the fuse but when I remove the fuse i have power at the contacts

At harbor freight, purchase a 3 dollar volt meter. Use it on "ohm" setting to confirm that the fuse is open (or good). If good, then the issue is beyond the fuse. Could be that you have a short (high resistance) that sucks down power..but not enough to open the fuse. That is beyond this sight to repair (IMHO).

Dvd Player problems

your problem is most likely caused by the cheesy soldering and contact points on the bottom of your power supply... they have a tendency to lose ground due to warping from heat and contraction.... try cleaning the case where the screws mount and complete the ground. use a low wattage soldering iron 15w/20w to solder more area for contact between the board's grounding points and use a emory board or file so that it is as flat as possible before remounting... seems to have fixed my unit... good luck
