Weber Genesis E-320 Propane Grill Questions & Answers
What is the best way to clean the grill?
use a good wire brush on the burners each time you use it before and after cooking. every season take the grill grates and flare reducers out and clean them well with a wire brush and or steel wool and clean out any residue in side the grill. make sure the grease catcher gets cleaned often as needed. blow out the gas manifolds with air in the spring to remove spider webs or insect webs etc. this should keep your grill working well for 10-15 years. replace the grates or flare plates when needed.also lightly clean the burners when you have the grill taken apart with steel woll then blow them out as well to keep all the openings clear. happy grilling.
The tempeture only hits 250 degrees after 15
I have had the same problem, for me it was a bad tank of propane, the valve was stuck mostly closed. I returned it to the store, told them the valve was bad and they exchanged it for free. That solved the problem for me.
Bought a weber genesis 320
Problem with the Weber
Normally, at least on an American grill hose/regulator assembly are a universal fit. And both ends of the hose have female couplings. I would think it would be the same on German Models too. For the connection to the grill, the hose coupling size is 3/8" ID.
My E320 Grill fell over and all is ok, but Igniter
Yes, you can match light each burner with a long stick match or a butane match. You'll have to turn each burner on one at a time to do this. But, I'll caution you, do not to hesitate in lighting a burner, as gas will build up quickly and you'll get a big WHOMP when the burner lights.
Grill is fairly new, can't
Simple solution. Turn off the tank valve, disconnect the hose from the tank. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (I mean slow motion, slow) until it's fully open. Light the burner that's farthest away from the tank first. Turn the flame up to high after it's lit. Now proceed to the other burners following the same lighting procedure. If all the flames appear as they should, you've solved the problem. If not, repeat the full procedure again.
But, I think the first time will do it.
In the future, remember to turn the tank valve on VERY, VERY SLOWLY, so that the burst of gas won't lockup the grill's regulator again.
Happy Grilling!! Please let me know if this solved your problem.
