My bissell proheat will not heat up the water and it comes out on the carpet cold.

-Check that the pump belt is intact, if not a new belt will need to be ordered. -Check to make sure both switches are turned on. -Allow the heater at least 1 minute to heat up. -If still no heat, please contact a BISSELL Authorized Service Centers to have a quality technician inspect your unit at http://www.bissell.com/service-centers/?zip=Enter%20your%20zip%20code&distance=50

The shaft that the inner belt rolls on is worn and needs to be replaced--where do I get part?

Try looking on the Bissell website and searching up your model. They might have the part you need.

Won't pickup water on rug

I may have already given my best advice but, check the hose line to the extraction tank and make sure there are no cracks in it. This will allow it to **** in air, and therefore reduce the vacuum pressure at the head of the machine, causing it to malfunction.

I have a bissell 2x, the suction is spotty or not at all, but sprayer works fine.

Make sure the hose to the return take is properly connected and has no cracks which would allow air to **** in there bypassing the intake.

Model 25a3 Bissell won't spray. Where is the

My machine was not spraying water and the solution was to clean out the nozzles. I was able to access one through the side where you gain access to the belts. The one on the other side was accessible when I removed the clear shield in the front and removed two screws so that I could lift up the top. The nozzles are white and you need to squeeze the clamps and slide them back in order to remove the hoses that lead to the nozzles. I used a straightened out paper clip to shove into the back of the nozzle in order to clear it. The holes are very small so it's easy for them to get clogged. Apparently they are easily clogged by cleaning residue, so in order to prevent its happening again, I fill the tank with clear water after I'm finished using the machine and then run it just for a while, spraying clear water that will hopefully clean out any residue. Hope this helps.

Bissel cleaner won't stop spraying water

Remove the handle and check for continuous spray. After handle is removed, check to make sure the valve is not stuck in the down position. If the valve is stuck in the down position, push on it manually to get it to come back up. If it is stuck you may need to get a new handle for your unit. This handle is for a variety of the ProHeat models http://www.bissell.com/parts/?sc=part&productid=2775&partid=4449&cid=ccsocialCheck to make sure it will properly fit your model if you need a new handle.
