Changing Watch Batteries Lots of posters ask "what is the battery in my (name of watch)" with a view to changing it yourself. This is a bad idea for many reasons. You don't have the tools or knowledge to remove a rotary screw on back, or the gasket sealant for a waterproof watch. Some fashion watches have 4 traditional screw and need professional grade jeweler screwdrivers. Also, there are about 20 batteries commonly used in watches, in various sizes and internal technology, Lithium Ion, Silver Oxide and Manganese Alkaline. If you buy them, you generally have to buy 10! Don't sweat the details. Just take the watch to your local jeweler. They have all the batteries at hand and the tools to remove the back. It is done whilst you wait for $8 to $15! I know this is an old question, but a definitive answer is that the questioner’s watch is fake because I have just discovered amongst a box of broken cheap watches I must once have picked up as a joblot, the same watch as described AND with the same serial number! Also, even before realising the above-mentioned howling coincidence, I had already suspected the 933 apparent silver fineness was a rather odd number - one that even as a collector of worldwide silver coins of many variable finenesses, I felt was completely unfamiliar and unlikely.

I have one of these, and look for the manual on the 'Net every time DST changes, and eventually figure it out. Here's how: (1) Hold down the ALM/SET button until you get past the alarm setting and you see 24H or 12H. (2) Step through the settings by pushing the ALM/SET button, changing each as desired by pressing the +/CYCLE button. Eventually you'll wind up with the time zone indication flashing (it's really tiny, and appears just below the time indication). Press the +/CYCLE until you get to the desired time zone. (3) After the screen quits flashing, press the -/DST button to get the desired setting. I hope this helps, and that I can find this post again next time change!

mcdevito75 here, Just a guess but here goes, start the chrono, now stop the chrono, the button you used to stop the chrono, press it again to retun to zero. Hope this helps.

The tone is weak

Take a small thin piece of cloth or paper towel, fold it and use to cover the watch face.  Put one quarter (coin) on top and one quarter (coin) on the bottom.  Place the sandwich in a pair of pliers, center thhe pliers and press, when you hear the snap, the back is on.  Do not use on a watch with a domed crystal, or at least use a lot more padding over the face.  Takes 10 seconds.
