Crosley gas dryer panel lights blinking will not turn on

Hello - I understand the lights are blinking; however will the display illuminate or allow you to program a setting? If it will not allow you to do so, try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household breaker off. Wait approximately two minutes and turn on the dryer. Select a normal cycle and if it is ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a defective cord or wiring, control board or door switch.

We replaced the termal coils on the dryer and it

The way it works is the coils the ignitor and the flame sensor are all powered up when the control thermostat calls for heat. 8_17_2011_4_36_46_pm.jpg8_17_2011_4_37_28_pm.jpg8_17_2011_4_37_50_pm.jpgIf all of these are good then look for these fuses8_17_2011_4_39_21_pm.jpgAny of these open and yall won't have no heat8_17_2011_4_40_13_pm.jpg8_17_2011_4_40_38_pm.jpgThis one does not have a pilot light. It is all automatic. When the control thermostat falls below 105f then it closes and powers up the gas assembly, all of the components are powered up at the same time. The ignitor has to reach 1800f to make the flame sensor trip and when it trips the power gets diverted to them coils. So make sure yall are getting power to the gas assembly first and then check the ignitor and sensor for continuity.. The ignitor does 2 jobs, it lights the gas and acts as a thermocouple once the flame is lit. if for some reason the gas were not to ignite then once that puppy cools down it shuts off the gas flow and that is your built in safety. The control thermostat alows power to the gas assenbly only until the drum temp reaches 160f. Then it opens and stops the power to the gas assembly. This is going on and off all throughout the drying process and it is normal to hear a click and a whoosh every so often. The flame does not stay on. The belt broke you need to

It can be done with one hand. You cannot do it while lying on the fool. Put it on back of a tail gate ir on a work bench. Reach in with your left hand with the belt between your thumb and forefinger. Grab the idler and pull it above the motor pulley. loop the belt onto the pulleys and let it go. Might take a few try's but it can be done with practice.
