Check the paper feed roller, it's posible to be worn. If it's worn out, you need to change it.
In know a trick than can help you temporarily, clean the roller with windscreen cleaning solution and a rag. (i make same trick with my copiers, and it's working)

This error is indicating that the fuser motor is not turning. Rotate the green fuser knob to see if it is hard to turn. If freely turning then a gear, motor, or DC Controller board is faulty.

There is a recommended patch to install if you are having issues scanning in Windows 10. Let's perform the following steps to download and install the scanning patch:
1. Click HERE to launch the download and driver page. Your operating system should automatically be detected.

Hello, I'll suggest you do it by yourself only if you have some technical knowledge about it. If you don't have any idea about this, the things may get worse. I'll suggest you to get experts help for any issue with your Canon printer.

Mine used to do that. I got told that it was from using too thin paper. They recommended using decent A4 rather than cheap thin paper. I bought some and have not had the problem since.

Maybe the default folder that is set up to receive scanned images has been set as 'read only'.
This sub-folder will most likely be in your default user folder.
Look for something similar to 'Scans' 'Scanned' 'Scanned images'.
Right click folder name in Explorer to view / change properties. OR..
Your printer interface software should allow an option to change the save path.
Also check drive capacity in My Computer screen.

• Open your internet browser and go to

• Press "Consumer and home office".

• Then from the product series scroll bar, select your Canon product.
• From "Drivers & Software" dialog, select the "Drivers & Software" of your printer model and also select your operating system and click Download button.
• Double click the downloaded file and follow the on screen instruction to setup printer driver on system.
