If the battery is dead,
If you still have your dead battery connected it will work as long as there's no power loss, there are rare cases this won't happen, you can replace the damaged one for a motorcycle one or even a car battery as long as they're 12 volts and polarity setup is right, inverse polarity will kill the UPS so be careful.
The battery plug in area is dead but the surge protector side works
Hello Vicki,
What you are describing is usually a result of the batteries losing their ability to hold a charge.
The surge protector side does not rely on the batteries.
I found good batteries at a reasonable cost on ebay, but I think you're going to need to replace batteries at this point.
Hope this helps.

Power light is out. Is the unit dead?
Atypically if this is an older unit what you have is an issue with the battery. It will no longer hold a charge.
You will nee d to go to the vendor site and look for a replacement battery.
In some cases it may be less headache and cost just to buy a new one.

It is better to just copy the music to her computer and dowlad and insatall itunes. If she wants all the music just burn a back up and just open i tunes on the other computer and insert disc which will be copyed to computer.
Shutting down computer
Hello,
You need a new battery. A battery store such as Batteries Plus can help you. Many Ace Hardware stores will order one for you and in fact, Radio Shack has the most common battery types in store or can get it for you. If you go through Cyber Power you will pay the highest price.
Hope this helped you.

I got lucky with my cyberpower 1000. Found that the black wire from the outlets to the board was not tight enough. Squeezed it a little with my pliers, and it works now. Don't worry about the on-plug falling out, you can push it in from the outside when you're done.
Wiring Fault light
You can download the manual from the link below:
http://www.sourceresearch.com/cyberpower/cyberpower-pdf.cfm?PdfPage=625_Manual.pdf
The "wiring fault" could be serious, as per manual:
"This LED indicator will illuminate to warn the user that a wiring problem exists, such as bad ground, missed ground, or reversed wiring. If this is illuminated, user is advised to disconnect all electrical equipment from the outlet and have an electrician check the outlet to insure proper ground."
I would turn the UPS off, unplug all equipment, wait 10 seconds, reset the circuit breaker (if tripped) and turn the unit on.
If you still have an issue then it's probably fried! Have you had any thunder storms or electrical power outages recently? Check your house insurance because it may cover a replacement unit.
Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!
Will not power up
1. Check the little button on the power supply: is it on ?
2. Take out wallplug, wait 10 minutes, then check all power connectors. Press all thight on to the socket, also on motherboard itself.
Try again.
I have a crane 181 with a nayax reader. It's only flagging 11 MDB codes. Any answer as to why? Firmware has been up
Without more information, it's challenging to determine the exact reason why your crane 181 with a Nayax reader is only flagging 11 MDB codes. However, here are a few potential reasons why you may be experiencing this issue:
- Compatibility: Not all vending machines and readers are compatible with each other. Make sure that your Nayax reader is compatible with the Crane 181 vending machine.
- Reader configuration: Check the configuration settings of your Nayax reader to ensure that it is set up correctly for the Crane 181 vending machine.
- Communication issues: Check the communication between the Nayax reader and the vending machine. If the communication is interrupted, it may not flag all the MDB codes.
- Faulty Reader: Your Nayax reader may be faulty or damaged. In this case, you may need to replace the reader or have it repaired.
- Firmware: Even if your firmware has been updated, there may still be compatibility issues between the Nayax reader and the Crane 181 vending machine. Double-check the compatibility of your firmware with both devices.
It's best to contact the manufacturer of your Crane 181 vending machine and Nayax reader to get specific support for your issue.
