I have Rainbow vacuum R-1650. Why does water I am dumping out look foamy?

Because you are pulling shampoo out of the carpet from a previous shampooing. Also the air whips around inside the waste bucket. Incidentally.... https://www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?958 ..

Rainbow SRX motor spinning slow

Sounds like an unwanted ingress of water into the motor assembly. Not a lot can be done without stripping the machine down and taking a look at any damage.

Rainbow vacuum E2 smoking hose

If your Rainbow vacuum E2 is experiencing smoking and a red blinking light, it indicates a potential issue with the electrical system or a blockage in the airflow. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and address the problem:
  1. Safety first: Turn off and unplug the vacuum immediately to prevent any further damage or potential safety hazards.
  2. Inspect the hose: Carefully examine the hose for any visible signs of damage, such as cracks or holes. Ensure that the hose is securely connected to both the vacuum unit and the wand. If you notice any damage, it may be necessary to replace the hose.
  3. Check for blockages: Remove the hose and wand assembly from the vacuum and inspect them for any blockages or obstructions. Pay particular attention to the areas where the smoking occurred. Clear any debris or blockages that you find.
  4. Clean or replace the filters: A clogged or dirty filter can restrict airflow and cause the vacuum to overheat. Remove and clean the filters according to the manufacturer's instructions. If the filters are worn out or damaged, it may be necessary to replace them.
  5. Electrical system check: The red blinking light indicates a potential electrical issue. Examine the electrical connections and cords for any signs of damage or loose connections. If you notice any issues, it is advisable to have a professional technician inspect and repair the electrical components.
  6. Seek professional assistance: If the smoking and red blinking light persist after performing the above steps, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer's customer support or a professional vacuum repair service. They can provide further guidance and assistance in diagnosing and resolving the issue.

Rainbow vacuum red light comes on and it won't work

Need more info. By not working do you mean the motor is not running, the beater bar is not turning or is the red light in the rainbow unit itself.

I have a rainbow black e2 series. My power nozzle won't stay running but if I connect to the gas pump handle to the power nozzle l it works great. So I replaced both wand pieces and I'm still having the same issue. Kinda confused

It may be the pivot arm. That is the neck on the power head that the wands connect into. The way to check that is by putting the handle directly into the neck and with it running, move handle back and forth forward and backwards to see if it has a short in the hose part of neck

I have a Rainbow Vacuum, the red light has come on. Also the brush on the power head spins and stops, spins and stops....???

This is because your beater bar bearings or motor is going out. Check both. You can check them by rolling the stem of the motor with you finger to see if motor bearing is damaged. It should roll very smoothly.
