Where do i connect the remote wire?
There will be 1 connection that has 12v or power. Connect your power lead from the battery to this terminal. There will be 1 connector that has GND, GRND. Connect this wire to the body of your car in your boot, sand down area first clean of paint and dust to bare metal. Easy place is your seatbelt harness under your rear seats. Then there will be 1 connector saying RMT which is your remote wire. This wire connects behind your head unit and then to the RMT connector on the amp.The remote wire turns power on to your amp on when ignition is turned on. The amp will turn off when ignition turned off. The same way your head unit turns on and off.Hope this helps, If you cant find your RMT connection, Please state make and model of amp and I will locate it for you.

Amp not working
sounds like the amp is going into protection mode. maybe a sub is shorted (blown). Or, the only other possibility is the mosfet transistors on the inside of the amp are blown.
Bxi 2006 audio driver board need to replace
If the output transistors are not shorted, he's probably correct in suspecting the driver board but it can typically be repaired. Have him email me and I'll send him a photo showing the two that most commonly fail.

Hello beaugarcia26,
Unless the amp itself is defective, there's a short or ground somewhere.
First disconnect the speaker wires and RCA (or high level) inputs, leaving just ground, remote turn-on and power leads connected. Then see if the amp powers up normally. If it doesn't check the ground with a multimeter and make sure it is good. If the amp powers up normally, check the speaker, speaker wires and inputs for shorts or grounds.
Hope this helps.
How Much
what model amp and what model subs they have dozens of models.
Bad Hum
Make sure you have a good ground from the amplifier to a metal surface in the car. Make sure this surface isn't paint covered and use a solid wire if possible (not stranded) to complete the ground.
Does the Hum pulsate?
Does the Hum get louder or softer when the ignition is turned?
Make sure your speker cables are not coiled or wraped up and or near any transformers, batteries, or other wires that have current running through them.
The most important thing is grounding.
