JBL S120PII Subwoofer Questions & Answers
How to set up to stereo ?
Generally there is a left and right input. The sub is usually not in stereo, the frequences of the sub are more omni directional, and have no spattal placement in the stereo field. If there is only (1) input you can take either the left or right from the system and you should get the frequencies you need. In the even it is not working out quite right you may take the left and right and use some 1k to 4.7k 1/2 watt resistors connected to tie the left and right line output togeather to feed the sub.

Power acoustic amp help
probably you had cause the wire to ground out the set.causing the short out to damage the power supply take your set to a tech to check it.and possibly to repair.good luck.
Amp wont turn on
Sounds like a fuse issue in the power from the amp - the remote circuit could be and probably is completely independent. haven't been able to find confirmation on this, but if you are confident to take the cover off then check (probably)around the area where the power terminals are there may be some fuses.
Hope this helps, ask again if not :)

Problem with your JBL BoomBox2 speaker (or similiar) ?
Just found this out, after crazy searching & brainstorming.
So if your speaker suddenly goes silent or sound comes and goes, you can check this out:
At least the JBL BoomBox seems to have this integrated in its architecture so there's nothing we can do about it, complain to JBL : )
But to the problem: if the SOURCE of music/sound is too low, then the speaker may go into a "sleep mode" - silent. So ensure always your SOURCE of sound, connected to the speaker, has volume at least 80% to avoid this problem.
Hope this helps & no one needs to ditch and buy a new one ! : )
