Logitech keeps switching to AUX during IPod and radio listening
Hi,
The Pure fi elite only support apple product up to the 3rd generation ( That does not include iphone 3GS )
Streaming functions are not supported on this hardware as the pure-fi can not detect the audio flux, it automatically switch off as there is no signal detected the Pure-fi go to sleep mode as if there were nothing connected to it.
Ehrn the pure-fi as been designed the streaming apps from devices were not taken into consideration by Logitech,
Unfortunatly there is no much we can do...
Thanks and have a nice day !

How do u turn the mute off?
Seems that your Pure-Fi Elite had the same problem as mine...sorry for that, but this model does not have a "mute" function. If you bought it before 2 years ago, you are covered by warranty. Remember this model is not avaiable anymore....you will have to choose another U$150 Logitech product. Logitech didn't even asked me to send them my "mute" Pure-Fi Elite...
Speakers cut out randomly
The only thing i can think of is the amount of power surging into the speakers is too great and they are cutting of to avoid blowing out. I have a similar issue with my surround sound if i turn it up too loud.
Changing the time
Here is a link to the manual:
PureFiElite_QSG_AMR.pdfTable 6 in the guide explains the procedure to setup the clock.
Hope that helps. Kindly rate the solution if you found it helpful.

Online user manual for pure-fi elite?
You can find the quick start guide on the logitech website but doesn't answer this question. I was needing the same answer. I figured it out after pushing all the buttons, maybe you have by this time tried the same thing.
In case you haven't here is the answer:
there is a little time button (looks like a clock) right above the sleep button on the remote. press and hold this until the time on the display flashes, press plus or minus to move the hours first, then press the play/pause button to switch to minutes and plus or minus to change these. press the little clock button to exit out and set the time.
Hope this helps.
Logitech Pure-Fi Elite Speaker System
Hi,
Two things,
1. You get static charged , from your surrounding ,ie the couch or bed you are sitting in or the the chair you are one before you go and disconnect the ipod.
2. The Logitech is not properly grounded. Check for missing rubber pads below. Also check the earthing at the wallsocket where it is connected
Thanks
