Spysweeper and internet explorer
Webroot is an Internet security company based out of
Colorado.
The company, founded in 1997, offers Internet security
programs for businesses and home users.
The Webroot Internet Security Essentials and Webroot
Internet Security Complete programs include a firewall that's designed to
monitor incoming data and filter out potentially unsafe data.
Consequently, Webroot does not recommend that you disable
the firewall.
Nevertheless, if you want to use a different firewall or if
the firewall is blocking legitimate data, disable it with a few clicks.
Launch the Webroot program.
Click "Edit Settings" under "PC
Security" in the "Home" panel.
The PC Security panel opens.
Click the "Firewall" tab.
Check the circle next to "Allow All Traffic." The
Webroot Firewall is now disabled.

If you are getting redirected, you probably have spyware. try to downloadd, install, and scan Malewarebytes, and Superantispyware. (both free) Should clean up your browser problem. If not, run HijackThis, and post to one of the forums to have your log evaluated. (just google "evaluate HJT log" )
Also, where are you getting redirected "from" to "where" ? There is a good web tool from Trend Micro that is free called Trend Micro Web Protect Add On...TMWPAO...it's very good, I recommend installing it. You may be accessing a site that is no good...you can also install McAfee's free tool Siteadvisor, or Trend Protect from Trend Micro, or the WOT tool...all 3 of these browser plugins point out bad sites so you don't go to them...I recommend tham also.

Webroot won't load
SPEAKING WITH MY EXPERIENCE GET SOMETHING ELSE.
FREE SPYWARE
Download Spybot Search & Destroy. Restart computer, then run Spybot to see what spyware comes up, AND DELET IT.
FYI---Virus Protection-- 2 programs of virus protection will conflict with each other and will actually cancel out the protection. SO just download one.
Running Spybot Search & Destroy with EITHER Avast or Avg (great Free virus protection programs ) will keep a computer in good working condition. FREE
HERE ARE SOME LINKS, THAT WOULD BE BETTER:
NEW *****Somthing new FROM MICROSOFT.*** 2009 ---Security Essentials
http://www.microsoft.com
*****Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.5.2 ****FREE SPYWARE
http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-De…
****Avast ***FREE ANTI VIRUS PROGRAM
http://www.avast.com/eng/home-registrati…****AVG ****FREE SPYWARE PROGRAM
http://www.free.avg.com
**Ccleaner*** FREE
http://www.download.com/3120-20_4.html?q…
***Malware**** FREE
http://www.malwarebytes.org/.$ *** KASPERSKY ***http://www.kaspersky.com
There are alot of $ anti-virus and Internet security programs out there,
ie: Norton, McAfee, Panda, Bitdefender. If you would like to pay $ then get ***Kaspersky***-- 2010 , I feel that is the best for your money.
REMEMBER TO KEEP UP THE DAILY MAINTENANCE ON ALL OF YOUR COMPUTERS.!
Good Luck. If you think this is good information, , please rate me.

Webroot antivirus won't run.
I'd uninstall and go with something like
Avira Antivirus
I haven't had ANY issues running this program. All I deal with is the occasional pop up when new definitions are installed. For what it can do, I think it's the best out there for it's price range...free.
If you wish to stick with Webroot...it sounds like it's conflicting with other program/s. Make sure your program is compatible with your OS. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it were Vista.

Webroot will not load after start up
hi there, the program may be experiencing some problems with the startup. If it is still doing this, try going under run, type in services.msc and look for webroot antivirus, hit restart and see what happens. If it still doesn't load, try reinstalling the software and see what happens.

Chances are it's a virus or malware. Download an anti-virus program to a disk or to a flash drive. Run it and see if you can find a virus. Here's a link to one of the best anti-virus progams. (In my opinion)
http://avg.en.softonic.com/
Hope you solve the problem. You might also try Malwarebytes
