1gig SanDisk micro card is not reconized by LG 500 mobile phone

delete that file off of the memory card and try it again.

If no go then I would try it on her hand set and back up the data to a comptuer using the usb cable on either handset ( which ever the memory card works fine on ) and then wipe the memory card transfer it to your handset and do what you need to do and you should be able to load the data from your handset on to it once its been wiped.

If you want to put the data back on you should be able to use the usb cable - assuming you got a usb cable of some description.

Otherwise if you have bluetooth you could enable bluetooth on both your handsets and transfer the data assuming you have enough storage space on the other handset.

If not let me know how you get on or what problems you come across and I will try and help further.

I tried to format the sd card in the computer but

Insert the card into whatever you are using it for...(i.e. camera, phone) and go into the menu and see if there is an option to format from there.

HI there, I have a

If you can, plug the memory card into your computer, open it for viewing and delete all files on the card.  Then put it in the phone and format it.  This is the only way I can think to do it.  At least this is what I had to do.  Good Luck.

How Do I/Where do I put this thing in my phone

Stick the microchip into the adapter(s) and insert it into a sd slot on your computer if you have one. If you dont have an sd slot, they sell external systems for sd cards at any electronic store that carries computers such as best-buy. This should FixYa!

Microsd

when the card is inserted into your laptop it is just like another drive (like your c drive) simply drag and drop onto the icon for the card or double click on the card to open up a window then drag the files into it.. what are you planning to use the SD card with? in itself it is just a drive it can't do anything else it is just for storage... you can of course insert it into another device (like a music player with an SD slot) and play the music you have put onto it

Sandisk 1gb microsd problems

The music might not be in the correct format. Does your phone play MP3s? Another thing might be the DRM problem with the MP3s. I had this problem once and had to strip the DRM stuff out of the MP3 before my phone would recognize it.

Memory card

As long as there is space on your memory card you can continue to take pictures. But once your card is full you need to download them onto your computer and clear your memory card so that you have room for more photos.

Battery for ViviCam 7388s

If you want to store more pictures on your 1 GB card you will have to set the camera to take lower resolution pictures. The only reason you need high resolution pictures is if you plan on blowing them up to huge prints. If you are just looking to save standard 4X6 inch pictures 800X600 is plenty of resolution and it will hold a ton of them. If you want to get a bigger SD card the largest you can go with this camera is 2 GB. Any higher is labeled SDHC or High Capacity. This model is not rated for high capacity chips so do not buy one. A 2 GB SD will double the number of pictures you can take and If you select a lower resolution like 800X600 You will be able to take hundreds of pictures. As far as your battery life goes you have to turn off the camera when it it not in use. After reading up on this device I have read that is not that great when it comes to battery power. But for an inexpensive camera it takes wonderful pictures. If you do want to take a special photo that you plan to print out 8 1/2 X 11 then take those pictures in Highest resolution. But for your regular everyday pics choose the lower setting. Experiment until you find the settings that work the best for the different things you are trying to do. If you need more help feel free to contact me at geokohler @gmail.com If you send me your number I will call you for free. I'm a digital pro and I love to teach people how to get the most out of their camera. Please take the time to rate this answer a fixya and I will help you whenever you ask.
PS. You should go buy a 2GB SD card You will still be able to use your 1GB too for extra storage. Don't buy any larger than 2GB, remember the High Capacity rule. Let me know if you need anything else
