Did you check to see if any of the shocks (in the bottom) are broken?

Yes it could have gone bad. Also you might be missing one of the 120 volt legs that the dryer needs to run. Try turning the Dryer circuit breaker all the way off then back on and see if it will work. It also could be that the belt that goes around the drum might have broken or come off the motor. If you can, open the top of the dryer and look for the belt to see if it is OK. Best of luck.
