The refrigerator stays on 43 degrees does not get

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.
First I would check cold control. Thats where you turn it off, if your temp is not warm. it can
be defective and not shutting off. If your temp is warm proceed with the following.
I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if FREEZER CONTROL is turned WARMER WHICH MAKES THE REF COLDER AND VICE-VERSA. SEE?
The ref. temp should be about 33-35
The Freezer temp should be 0 to 10 Any thing below these temps is overkill and a waste of elect
The higher the number you turn it up to is the coldest
But is probably a common defrost problem The ice build up
is not being melted by the defrost system. The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater, heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath
Make sure back cover is on the fridge. Some take them off and throw them away.
make one out of cardboard if its gone, using the holes of the old one.

THE FILL TUBE IN BACK OF REFRIGERATOR CAN SLIP
AGAINST THE FILL RESERVOIR CAUSING A PARTIAL BLOCKAGE
OR BECOME CLOGGED WITH ICE.
REMOVE THE ICEMAKER AND INSPECT THE FILL TUBE.
RUN WATER IN TUBE TO ELININATE BLOCKAGE AND CHECK
TEMP IN FREEZER. IF TEMP IS BELOW 0 DEGREES, THATS
OVERKILL AND USUALLY A WASTE OF ELECTRICITY TO KEEP IT THAT COLD, NOT TO MENTION THE FILL TUBE FREEZING UP

You are right, compressor is a costly part to be replaced.--------- But as per the problem it seems compressor is a issue causing the problem.-------- But before replacing compressor, its advisable to test the compressor. There is a start up relay /capacitor beside the compressor. Its called start up relay/capacitor because, this parts gives power and start up command to compressor to run.Its also called run capacitor.--------- Now i will explain you the wiring.--------- The power from main power cord, which you connect to electric outlet. The other end of the power cord connects to start up capacitor. relay in your refrigerator. Then from start up replay/ capacitor the terminal is connected to compressor.-------- You can say that relay/capacitor the mediator between main power cord and compressor.----------- ---------- It can be possible that this relay/capacitor is faulty and that is not letting the compressor to run.-------- This part is not very costly, its a $15 part.--------- so what you can do is.First unplug the refrigerator from main power outlet.------- then disconnect the relay/capacitor from the power cord terminal. And directly connect compressor terminals to the power cord terminals.---- Then turn on and see.If the compressor runs that means relay capacitor is faulty and needs to be replaced.---------- But if compressor is not running that way, then yes its faulty compressor.Loosing compressor in 4 years is not very common,But in some cases it happens. The compressor needs to be replaced.--------- The safety notes:---- While by passing the relay/ capacitor. Please unplug the main power cord of the refrigerator from power outlet.---- The capacitor/relay its a part which saves bit current in it.even though its unplugged. So be care full. You don't touch any metallic part or non-insulated tip of copper wire.A minor current will be noticed, even the power cord is out.Just take care you don't touch any metallic wire directly on its tip.stand on wood base.-------Before removing the relay/capacitor our.Note down its exact connection.one end f relay/capacitor connected to power cord and other connected to compressor. You just have to remove relay/capacitor out and connect both compressor and power wires directly.Connect wiring's properly.--------- -------------- You can get required parts from :---

from online sites like: --- www.repairclinic.com or from searspartsdirect online site.

This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

For a GE refrigerator model GFSF6KEX, how do you remove the ice tray? (Not the freezer drawer, just the tray.)

To remove the ice tray from your GE refrigerator model GFSF6KEX, follow these steps: Empty the Ice: Before removing the ice tray, empty it of any ice cubes. This will make it easier to handle. Locate the Ice Tray: The ice tray is typically located in the freezer compartment, usually near the ice dispenser or ice maker. Grasp the Bottom Edge: Stand in front of the freezer and open the door. Grasp the bottom edge of the ice tray on the sides. Be cautious not to place your fingers near the opening at the bottom front part of the bucket where the crusher blades are located. Lift Up the Front: Lift up on the front of the ice tray so that it clears the stops on the ice bucket rail. Pull the Tray Forward: Pull the ice tray forward and out of the freezer compartment. Reinstalling the Tray: To reinstall the ice tray, follow these steps: Line up the flange pieces on the sides of the tray with the channels in the ice bucket rails. As you push the ice tray all the way back, lift the front of the tray so that it clears the stops on the front of the ice bucket rails. Verify that the tray is properly inserted by pulling it forward. It should hit the stops on the rail and not come out. If it does, push the tray further back. Check for Misalignment: If you're unable to push the ice tray all the way back, it might be due to a misalignment between the back of the auger (located in the tray) and the prongs on the auger motor (mounted in the back freezer wall). To fix this: Remove the ice tray. Close the freezer door. Press the dispenser for cubed or crushed ice; you should hear a snap. Open the door again and reinstall the ice tray. Remember to handle the ice tray carefully, especially if it's full of ice.

Why internal lights not working yet panel lights do?

There could be several reasons why the internal lights in a vehicle may not be working while the panel lights are functioning. Here are a few possible explanations:

1. Blown fuse: Check the fuse box to see if the fuse for the interior lights has blown. If it has, replace it with a new one of the same rating.

2. Faulty light switch: The switch that controls the interior lights may be faulty or worn out. Try toggling the switch on and off to see if it makes any difference. If not, consider replacing the switch.

3. Loose or corroded wiring: Inspect the wiring connections for the interior lights. Loose or corroded connections can disrupt the electrical flow and prevent the lights from working. Tighten any loose connections or clean off any corrosion.

4. Burnt-out bulbs: If all the interior lights are not working, it's possible that multiple bulbs have burnt out at the same time. Check the bulbs and replace any that are no longer functional.

5. Dimmer switch settings: Some vehicles have a dimmer switch that controls the brightness of the interior lights. Make sure the dimmer switch is not turned all the way down or set to a very low level.

If none of these solutions resolve the issue, it may be best to consult a professional mechanic or electrician to diagnose and repair the problem.
