The MX-780 is not capable of sound. There are no options to create sound through the menu when you press and hold the MENU and ENTER button, nor is there in the CCP software. This probably has to do with limited memory and to conserve alkaline battery life. We get this question from some of our installers who we do programming work for. If there were some limited volume feedback it would probably be more annoying than helpful, and you might be looking to shut it off.
