First of all if you changed the output to audio video then you will need to connect it to the video input on the TV using RCA type cable then go to setup and change to rf output on channel 3 connect an antenna to the input and connect the output to the TV and tune the TV to channel 3 then while in the setup menu go to the scan channels menu and hit the OK. Then it should scan all channels available when complete exit setup you should be good too go
