my unit will only give ranges up about 30 yards then i ger the 3 dashes...

Rangefinder will not work
My ProStaff Laser 440 Rangefinder will not show distance in yards or meters. The battery is new.

Nikon 440 wont read beyond 20 yards
Worked fine for about a year. Now won't ready anything beyond about 20 yards. New battery, clean lenses.

cloudy field of view
my 440 range finder has a cloudy field of view. The exterior lenses are clean.

rangefinder "mode" button will not work.
RF is lock in meters mode. holding the mode button and then hitting the power button brings up a "L-4" code...
