You may have a blocked top filter screen. If the machine isnot cleaned regularly this screen can become so dirty and clogged that thewater cannot get through.

Easy way to tell is run a shot without the port filter basket in place. Watershould flow out of the top screen. If you see it spurting out in small streamsit needs to be cleaned. you simply need to remove the screw in the middle ofthe screen, clean well, then replace.
