Normally is a problem related to the cable. Check if is working properly and well connected. Also, the monitor should (of course) working fine too.

And try to boot again.You have to setup the clock and the boot settings for the drive.Because removing the battery will reset the bios to factory defaults.A fault in a graphic card or drive can also cause this.Good luck
HOW I CAN RESET MY GIGABYTE G31 MOTHERBOARD BIOS
Remove the CMOS battery in the motherboard for some time and then plug it again the bios will be reset to factory defaults with no password. CMOS battery is like a coin in the motherboard with positive sign (+) in the upper side.
OR
In the motherboard there is a bios reset jumper, it has three metal with two of them was use by
the jumpers as the default, just move the jumper place it occupying the
third metal point leaving the first. wait for about 1 min then return
to the original setting occupying the 1st point, turn the unit on and CMOS will be cleared off.
SOUND DRIVER DOWNLODING
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then restart your computer then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling

right click to install driver also
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem
have you tried this control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand,system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable)

On Starting Getting a continuous solid beep.

Locate the speaker on the motherboard.
It is a small gadget plugged onto the motherboard.
Hold from the connector (shown on the left side of the picture) and pill to remove it.
Removing the speaker will remove the annoying sound.

Check your bios settings for any front panel port settings and make sure it is enable.
Also check for the audio jumper settings. Refer to the motherboard manual.
