Frigidaire FWS833A Top Load Washer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Washer will not fill- no water in, only a slight
With the hose disconnected from the washer and faucet open no water comes out then it is for sure the washer will not fill, Run a garden hose from any working faucet and attempt to run washer>
Do not forget and leave the faucet to the washer open if and when the blockage clears.
The faucet that controls the hose connection may have failed and the internal rubber washer is blocking the flow.
Hope this helps?

Won't stop filling with water, seems to fill to
there is a water connector that the water lines from the house connect to the washer. you will need to take the panel off. you should see a blue plastic box where the hoses connect. you will need to replace this piece. it should have wires on it and that tells the washer when to open the valve for water to come through and when to stop.

MACHINE KNOCKS DURING SPINN
Hi friend, thank you for your post!
From what you are describing it sounds like you could be experiencing a leveling issue within your Frigidaire washer. I would advise to check and make sure your appliance is leveled. Also if this is a new install please check to assure that the shipping materials have been removed.
If all of the previous information is corrected I would recommend having a professional come out to review your appliance because it could be an issue within the motor, belt, or drum. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

My washer want stop filling up and when I should the machine off the water runs in the floor
Good Afternoon Friend,
I understand that your Frigidaire washer, model# FWS833A, will not stop filling. I see that you shut the machine off and the water runs onto the floor. I suggest shutting the water off at the inlet. From there I would contact your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your appliance and determine why the water will not stop filling your washer. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

CLOTHES COMING OUT OF WASHER WITH DARK STAINS
Hi Lynn, this is AP.
I understand you are seeing stains and lint on your clothes once removed from your top load washer, model FWS833A. There could be several culprits causing this to happen. To confirm, are the stains not being removed during cycle or do you believe the washer is the cause of the stains? If you believe the stains are being caused from the washer it could possibly be undiluted liquid fabric softener poured directly on fabric. Something more serious could be a broken transmission causing oil to leak in the tub.
There are some basic troubleshooting tips for lint to check such as undissolved detergent can leave residue on clothing. Separate clothing items which shed lint from items which attract lint. Permanent press, synthetic, knit and corduroy items will pick up lint from towels, rugs and chenille bedspreads. Make sure to Use correct amount of detergent, water temperature and water level.
There are some simple troubleshooting tips listed above and in your owner's manual, if you find they do not resolve your concern I would recommend contacting a local authorized technician to inspect the washer.
Thanks,

Top load washing machine is
Hello rdying, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
Based on what you mentioned briefly, it sounds like your washer possibly has a hole in the outer tub, loose or damaged drain hose/valve. Regrettably, this is not a simple DIY job. I would strongly recommend reaching out to a service provider to proceed further.
Best regards - Chris

My top load washer takes very long to fill with good water pressure
Hi Miguel, I am happy to assist you!
I understand your washing machine is taking a long time to fill. Is the incoming water flow normal? If it is, does the fill water continue to enter your washer? If yes, disconnect power from your appliance. Did the water fill stop? If so, a service technician may need to check the pressure sensor or switch to determine if it needs replacement.
If your water flow is abnormal, double-check water faucets to ensure they are in the "on" position. If on, your incoming water pressure may be above 30 PSI and could need adjusting. Check for any kinked or blocked water hoses or clogged water screens. If you've cleared the water screen and/or unblocked any kinked water hoses, and the problem still persists, it could possibly be a water inlet valve assembly.
If you have checked all of the above, your washer may need a main control board replacement. I would recommend contacting a qualified service technician to further assist you in diagnosing this issue.

Works OK but the water will not pump out
Good Morning Jim, I am happy
to assist you. Often when a unit does not spin, it is because the unit cannot
properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does the unit
make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be clogged and needs to
be cleaned. If not, the washer may possibly be experiencing an issue with the
door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating
correctly. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying
causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and
repair the unit.
