Boss BV7970 CD Player Questions & Answers
MY BOSS BV7970 DO NOT PLAY ANY BURN CDRW OR DVDS
Hi,
Some players are picky with certain cdrw/dvdrw discs. You might have to experiment with different brands/types for your discs. I used to have a cd player (teac) which would just refuse certain brands cd-r discs but play others just fine. I know it sounds odd, but once I noticed which ones work and which ones don't I never looked back.
Also, have the "problematic" discs been recorded on just one recorder? Have you tried playing discs recorded on a different recorder?
Also - I'm sure you've already tried it-it's always a good idea to clean the laser just in case.
Hope this helps+
Good luck,
Raf

If original remote is not available, you can use Universal Remote Control for your product but Universal Remote Control will require programming for your product.
I have a 3000 watt Boss mono block amp that is stuck in protection mode and green light is flashing any ideas on how to fix it plz
It's a inexpensive amp, and poorly made. the amplifier failed. you won't be able to fix it unless you open it up and happen to have a degree in electrical engineering, or have the schematics to that particular amp and access to the parts like the transistors/finals and power supply bits to replace the damaged parts. chances are you blew mosfet(s) in that case the amp is a paperweight.
Sorry for the bad news. I had a couple of Boss amps and after second one fried went with another brand. Ck out amps on Azon.
Best to you.
I have a used boss audio BB8 and need to install in my 2010 gmc sierra denali.
It's possible that the Boss Audio BB8 unit may work without the remote control dial, but it's best to check the manual or contact the manufacturer to be sure.
As for the RCA outputs, it's best to use an RCA output if your stock tuner does not have RCA outputs. You can either purchase the harness for high input or the variable LOC and convert it to RCA. However, the best option for you depends on the specific requirements of your system and the compatibility of the equipment. It's always a good idea consult the manual before making any changes to your car audio system.

Page 9 of the manual says it goes into Bluetooth Search when you power it on, so get your phone searching and then power the radio on. Pretty much every Bluetooth unit I have come across needs a button pressed to send out the signal.https://www.bossaudio.com/manual/BV6656B_EN_UM.PDFI don't like this mention of a 'Hands Free Kit' or that is says 'pairs to *most* mobile phones'.Bluetooth Features:Built-in Bluetooth technology for hands-free talking and audio streamingBluetooth Profiles Supported:HFP: Hands Free Profile allows a hands-free car kit to connect to a compatible mobile phoneA2DP: Advanced Audio Distribution Profile allows high quality audio to be streamed from an audio device to the car stereoWorks with most Bluetooth enabled cell phonesIncludes a built-in microphone for clear, convenient, distortion-free talking..
