Completely power down the system, by first turning it off, then removing the power cord from the wall socket. Wait a minute or two. Then, reconnect the power, and turn on the system. This should clear up the problem.

For future reference, it is good to use a top-quality surge suppressor, at the power source, to protect your Bose Lifestyle sound system.

DivX compatibility is not a feature of the Lifestyle 35 system. You can contact Bose Support, to inquire as to whether they have any firmware upgrade for DivX compatibility. To the best of my knowledge, there is no such upgrade in existence for the LS35.

rattling noise comes from your wiring color coding. make sure positive goes into positive, negative to negative. You may have connected the output into the output of the sub. and satellites are in the input.

Hi Anonymous, you are surely taking the signal for your wireless headphones, from the headphone output of your Bose sound system
This usually cuts the sound in the external speakers
Try to find another type of audio output for your headphones
Comment on what Bose system you have, so I would try to find a better solution
I hope you comment

Loudspeaker hum is usually caused by a mains breakthrough in the amplifier due to a power supply fault or by a "hum loop" or ground loop. Plenty about this online.

Another cause is an open circuit amplifier or preamplifier input...

Converting a 12-hour time to 24-hour time is straight forward, though confusing. From 1:00 PM to 11:59 PM you add 12 hours, and from 12:00 AM (midnight) to12:59 AM you subtract 12 hours. Or you can simply use the following calculator toconvert to or from either system.
