Hello paigeterrajr - Well, if there isn't any motor movement, it could be the door switch, the motor, or the main control board. Since the shock absorber could possibly be broken as well, it is possible that the unit thinks that it is not balance properly which will prevent it from going into a high speed spin/agitate. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair the unit.

Hi slogjlog - Often when a unit does not spin or agitate, it is because the unit cannot properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does the unit make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the washer may possibly be experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair the unit.

Hello Ronald Kankelfitz - Consult a professional to move forward accurately. Usually repair or installing information is not release to a consumer and it is very rare to find enough information to do it yourself. In most cases this information can be found on the internet; however it is not provided directly from the manufacturer. They also usually warranty their labor just in case something else may turn out to be the root cause of your initial problem and it does work out better to your advantage. Consider contacting your manufacturer for more details on who in your area may guide you through this process.

Hi tdudley770 - From what you have described the dryer may possibly have a communication problem with the control board, defective cord/wiring, or faulty door lock assembly. Try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes. If it proves to be ineffective, I suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose the unit and move forward accurately.

possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors
due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program
controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN
pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from
the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the
water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the
voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no
voltage from the controller. This means
the controller is a suspect.
water flows though the inlet then the flow pressure should be good, if not the
inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the
inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL
SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level
to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is
most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must
be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for
rinse and wash.
link to replace the inlet valve:
after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come
in to rinse and then finally the dry spin with the drain valve/pump activated
so as to drain off all the water from the clothes during the spin.
that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check
the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the
valve or motor or pump.

Hello Amanda Fosdick - It sounds like the washer either has a problem with the front tub, rear bearing or a loose connecting with the motor or drum. I recommend contacting a professional to move forward accurately and properly diagnose the unit. The part(s) may have to be replace depending if they are worm, damaged or loose.

Hello landlord guy - Does the unit make a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose/pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned, or you have another issue with the door lock assembly or the timer and control board not communicating correctly.
