I have the identical issue:
I accidently used the wrong charge chord to plug in my camera dock. I noticed that the red "charging" light came on and started blinking instead of staying on. I unplugged the 9v charge chord and plugged in the correct 3.5v charge chord and now my camera wont turn on at all. Whether I plug the correct chord into the docking station or the camera itself, the camera will not power on. My concern is that I either fried the battery, the camera, or both. I would assume that sanyo engineered in a reset or something. Is there a way to reset the camera.

I have 2 spare batteries
with my sanyo hd1000. Now they are all empty whithin a very very short
period (like 2 minutes) while I could shoot more than one hour with
each battery last month. When I check the current it's defenetly full
with sufficient power but the camera
detects it as an empty battery. I assume it has something to do with an
external charger I have bought and used recently. Is it possible to
"reset" the camera or "reset" the batteries in some way or another like
draining all power before charging with camera again???
Help needed please!!!! I am from Brazil and nobody here can fix it and help me

I just bought a Sanyo HD1010 camcorder. I took some video clips which I were able to playback on the camorder's viewfinder. While it sits on the docking station, I hook it up to my computer monitor using the HDMI cable (HDMI to HDMI ports). My monitor is HP W2207 (HDMI capable). I've changed the input display to Digital HDMI. Still, it won't play on the monitor. Please help. Thank you. Marz.
