I forget the unlock code for my 8gb ipod
Because of obvious concerns regarding ownership. We do not provide unlock codes or passwords to these types of devices.
you wouldn't be to happy if we provided a solution for someone to access your iPod that was just stolen from you.
However I can give you information on where you can get this. Apple support. They are the only ones that can help you because they are the only ones that can match up you personnel information with that specific iPod. There should be information in your manual about password recovery. If you don't have that just click the link below.
Hope it helps.

Does not turn on
Yes, the rain will kill these things. Apple did that on purpose so you will have to buy a new one, because guess what? Apple won't replace units damaged by water. Turn off the unit and try throwing this thing in a zip lock bag filled with dry uncooked rice. The rice will absorb all moisture out of the unit. Leave the thing in there to rest for a few days before turning on. If you get nothing, then you gotta put on your dumb face and go into the store with your receipt and say it just broke and you don't know why.

Make sure that your ipod is plugged into the wall and not into the computer. The ipod can get more power from the wall then from your computer. Once it is plugged into the wall try reseting the unit. Hold down the menu button and the center button for several seconds. Make sure you dont have the hold on when doing this. If this does not fix the problem then you may have a bad battery or a bad system board. Contact Apple and see if the unit is still under warranty with this site: https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do
The serial number can be found on the back of the ipod toward the bottom. Contact www.wiredextreme.com.if you ahve any more questions.
White screen! wont go on
Try to reset the iPod by holding down the menu and center button - usually need to put the iPod on a table and use 2 fingers.. Hold for about 5 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Otherwise try a restore in iTunes but that erases everything.

Have you checked whether there is a volume limit on the nano. Go to settings then playback and then volume limit. From there you can adjust the maximum volume you can have. Hope this helps.

Hey Peter, How are you?
Please answer this questions before we confirm the issue..
1. May I know are you using this docking station for the first time?
2. Manufacturer of Docking station?
3. Which generation iPod?
My 8gb ipod is frozen please help thank you
Hello.
You need to reset that iPod.
In Order to do that follow these Steps:
- Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
- Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously
until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to
repeat this step.
Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your
iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the
Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make
sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the
click wheel, and not near the center.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power
adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or
connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and
isn't set to go to sleep.
Good Luck.
