After moving frigde and freezer quit.

Your compressor start relay has become loose or possibly defective.
Push it back on for a good connection.
Watch it when you plug the fridge in.
If it sparks replace it.

Frigidaire Icemaker not making ice.

That on/off arm...you should be able to move it and it will likely make a small click when the switch goes on or off. That arm controls the ice making. There is also a float, is it working freely? It has a switch too. Ultimately, the water is controlled by a solenoid valve. It may be defective. Many of these units are removable to test the switches with a multimeter. Turn off the water and remove to test. Some parts are available...some parts are by the unit only.

Freezer and frig have stoped freezing and cooling

Check that the door gasket has been fitted correctly and is sealing properly. It is held in place by screws and a backing plate which can be seen if you peel back the gasket

Door seals are hot to the touch..

There are 2 or 3 things that would cause this. first make sure the condenser coils are not plugged with dust (vacumn or blow them out) next check to make sure the fan that cools these coils is running, (this is the most likely problem). if both of these check out ok then you would need to check to make sure your interior lights ar going off when the doors are closed as these will add extra heat and cause the center rails to run hot. last and most uncommon would be a freon system problem.

fyi there is a hot gas freon line that runs in between the doors to prevent exterior sweating. when poor or no air flow problems for the condenser coil exist it causes this area to become hotter.
One more thing. if you do determine that the condenser fan motor is bad you can put a normal house fan blowing on to the coil to help cool this area down until you can get the unit repaired.
If you need any further assistance leave me a comment here and I'll gladly get back to you. Thanks Peyton

How do I remove the doors?

Refrigerator side is easy. Remove the top hinge cover and then the hinge. Lift it off the bottom hinge and set it to the side. The freezer side is a little more entailed as it has a water and electric connection. Remove the lower kickplate (Grille) and then you will see a plastic tube coming out the bottom of the hinge. Follow it to the connector and removed it. A little water might come out but it will stop. Next, go to the top hinge and remove the hinge cover. Unplug the electric connection and then remove the top hinge. Lift the door off the bottom hinge sliding the plastic tubing through the hinge...This should do it. If you need further asssistance, we are here.

Ice maker is crushing ice when cubed ice button is on

The problem is in the selector switch itself. If it is a touch pad, you will have to reset the control board by unplugging the until for 3 min. if its a physical switch, it may be faulty and will need to be replaced.

Good luck. please rate my answer as a fixya!

Freezer doesn't freeze in winter?

Domestic refrigerators nowadays are designed not to operate at temperatures less than 45 degrees. First, if it's 45 degrees in the house, people probably are not living there. 2nd, 45 degrees keeps food refrigerated. 3, if people are not living in a space, then they don't need to keep frozen food.

This is a result of the changes in refrigerants we've been going through since 1992.
If you want an outdoor freezer, buy one, and make sure it's designed to be used in a non conditioned space.

Ice on the bottom of freezer

Sounds like your freezer drain is blocked. first, turn the temperature controller up a little bit, maybe one or two stops, then wait 24 hours to see if the ice melts at all. If it starts to go away, then you may need to toss a few towels on the floor next to the freezer because 6 inches of ice melt is gonna make a mess.

After you get that sorted out, turn the temp down one click to make sure that everything is staying cold, and that the ice is not reforming.

good Luck!

HavFreezer not staying coe a Refrigerator that humms and clicks.

Okay, normally the refrig tech would tell you where abouts the hole is. Well I would of at least told you where abouts it was. Normally on a domestic fridge when there is a hole that you can repair, does end up costing abit of money.

In all honesty it is a risk. If you got a quote of say 200-300 dollars and a new fridge is 1000-1500. Then you have a high chance of the fridge going bad after the repair and costing you another 200 dollars. But you still are 500 up. But you dont have a new fridge.

Sorry if that dosent make sense but what I am trying to say is that it is a risk of loosing money and still havnt not having a new fridge
