Take the battery pack out of the camcorder, attach it to the power adapter, and plug it in. Full details are on page 17 of the manual.

The ZR60 does not use a memory card. The manual covers several different models with slight differences; this is one of those differences. The ZR65 and ZR70 can use SD cards, but not the ZR60.
