Hi,

1) Remove the face plate off and cleaned the cog
2)Verify the water supply to the valve
3)Verify valve to icemaker works(unit has dual valve at rear bottom of fridge, switch plugs, then press water dispenser and see if icemaker fill with water ) if fills icemaker is bad , if not valve is bad. replace one or the other.

Try replacing your water filter. If that does not solve it you could possibly have a problem with your water valve or where the water line connects to your house water system.

most likely you have a leak in the sealed system.if your compressor is running and not getting cold you most definately have leak.charging it wont help,you need to find where the leak is coming from and have it repaired and then have it charged.there is no place to check freon level.you could take the back panel out of freezer and you will see your coils and what type of frost pattern your getting if any at all.

there is a drain hole located in the aluminum drain pan that needs to be flushed out with hot water. I use a turkey baster or a large syringe to do this it forces hot water thru and clears anything that's in the line..

Hi: Well, you have an inexpensive fix ahead. Your defrost drain is clogged. Look at the bottom of your freezer, the back wall. At the very bottom you will see a shallow funnel with a hole in the center. Usually a few slits in the metal above it for venting. This hole is not refrigerated and can also swallow a frozen pea or other morsel. Your defrost mechanism is also above it and uses it to drain the defrosted ice from the coils. Which it is not happening. Unplug and warm the freezer (put your food in a cooler) and you could pour some warm water and clorox bleach down the hole at the bottom. If it is just mold the clorox will eat it up. If its worse get a pipe cleaner (as in tobacco pipe) and work it in the hole. You have a cheap fix. Hope this helps, Jeff

the drain in the freezer compartment is frozen up you can remove all items from lower freezer and remove access panel on back of freezer compartment pick the ice out of the drain hole with a small screwdriver DO NOT USE SCREWDRIVER AROUND THE ALUMINUM COILS! once all ice is gone that you can see use hairdryer to blow into hole on medium heat. once it looks like it is gone take a small 1/4 plastic tubing and push down the hole to try to clear obstructions then run hot water down hole. if it still doesnt drain take rear access panel off of compressor area (back of refrig) look for drain hose and remove clamp take off and clean u might try this first. but you will have to remove ice from drain.

Did you clean the surfaces thoroughly and glue it down with white or clear silicone, then leave it to cure? also was it an OEM replacement or an Amazon special as the quality is different.
