After opening the refrigerator door for about 3 seconds, the refrig unit loses all power; lights go out; gauges inop. Close the door and often the power will return and the refrig goes thru its startup sequence. If I leave it alone the power remains on no problem. Open the door and it goes out again. I was suspicious of the interior light or the door switch but the service rep says its the main circuit board for which I am waiting. Presently, the power will not come back no matter how much I open and close the door. So I've lost some money in groceries.

We found the 48" PRO (made by Samsung in Korea) to be a very impressive built-in refrigerator and had everything we could have asked for, but, the doors took tremendous effort to open and only a little less effort to close. It has a self-closing mechanism that seemed to fight against the opening and closing, which made it too annoyingly difficult. A child could never open this model and it's a challenge for adults, even "Ahhnold", I would think. We asked if there were a way to adjust the door resistance but no one at Sears knew anything. The price makes this a great refrigerator but the doors cancel the deal. Can these self-closing mechanisms be adjusted or removed?
