My Hoover max extract Spin scrub FH50220 is leakiing bad what can I do

You'll have to find out where it's leaking! Its not real hard. I will help you!1. Fill the clean water tank. Check that the valve on this tank doesn't let water through when not on the machine. If it does this the tank is the problem. 2. Take off the 4-6 phillips screws holding the hood on to the machine. They will be on each corner underneath. Be Gentle! Do not break any of the plastic parts. 3. Check where the clean water comes to a L valve. This valve is a very common problem. Place the water tank on the machine. DO NOT hold the handle down. Use paper towel to check for wet spots if you can't see where it is leaking. It should be fairly obvious. 4. If the water is coming from the "back" of the machine or the handle pry the cover off the inside of the handle revealing the hoses. The water release valves may be leaking. Be sure to check all hoses for cracks or breaks. Simply find the water.. and trace it back. 90% of the time it is the L valve which looks like this:http://www.vacuummedic.com/product.php?id=231Carefully put the machine back together not forgetting anything and test!Good Luck!!

Have aqua lazer mop steam not coming out very well

I had the same problem After removing the cleaning head, I found that putting half a cup of white vinegar into the water container (straight) and turning it on, letting the pump take the vinegar to the steamer. A little bit of spitting and tooting followed by the smell of vinegar in the small amount of steam that was coming through let me know that it had permeated the works.( the heating element).Turning the appliance off overnight, I finished the cleanup job the following morning using a long pin to insert into the steam outlet nozzle to loosen any debris...BEFORE TURNING IT ON...WARNING...BEFORE TURNING IT ON...Steam burns are not pleasant.A little more Vinegar in the container and int roared back into life, I let it run for a while whilst it spat out the accumulated debris. I then flushed the system with a fresh container of water and I\'m proud to say that, after replacing the cleaning head, it now works like a charm.Lesson: Regular use of white vinegar through the system should prevent lime scale, or other buildup, and prevent any further problems that could lead to a heating element meltdown.

Model F5865-900 -water won't dispense

I used a couple of cable zip ties to tighten V at the base of the trigger shaft - this is the shaft directly from the trigger at the top of the steam vac--just remove two screws toward the top of the unit

How to repair the bearing in the brush motor in s Hoover Steamatic

I believe you are asking about the turbine assembly. It runs off suction and powers the brushes. These commonly seize up due to moisture. They seldom can be fixed although tearing it apart and lubing the bearings can be tried. When we get them in for service they almost always get replaced. They come as an assembly. 1. Remove hood.2. Remove turbine.3. Replace or Repair turbine.4. Reinstall hood. I'll include a link to a picture of the most common turbine.Good Luck! The Vac Dr.http://vacuummedic.com/product.php?id=229

Hoover Steam Vac clean water tank valve leaks

a) make sure that there is not a place for a stair attachment. If
there is make sure air is not leaking through where the attachment goes
on because of damaged or misplaced fitting.

b) some steam vacs leave water behind them and **** up in front of
them. If you just walked forwad with the steam vac nothing would be
sucked into the tank.

c) try taking your finger off the trigger and using the steam vac. If
the tank still empties the trigger is stuck open.

d) try putting clean water in the dirty water tank only and using it on
a dry rug. If water goes somewhere from the dirty water tank you have
a leak.

e) take apart what you can and look at the parts. A good visual
inspection can solve many of these types of problem if you are careful
not to miss anything.
