the only way i can think of is to remove the battery and sim card and try to reset it that way. other wise if that sim card is in there and you hit the reset info gone and no way to get around it.

This is a common problem with most of the Models with Samsung and Sony.This is due to the faulty firmware. You could try to reset the phone or pull out the battery for few minutes and then put it back. If the problem persists, you need to contact the service center to get the firmware re-flashed.

Just copy your Games or apps to external memory of your phone then run from your phone.

Take the battery out as soon as possible, remove the main board and soak it in alcohol (not Rum) for 10 to 15 seconds and hit it with some "blow off" duster in a can or tuner cleaner. The corrosion (whitish-green) around the legs (pins) of the chips and discrete components often renders the main board useless. You can try cleaning the corrosion off with soda water and a soft toothbrush and then spraying it out with some tuner cleaner. Take the rest apart and clean as best you can especially around the battery power input, using the method above. Let it dry overnight, reassemble it, say a prayer and turn it on. You may need a T6, a #6 Torx screwdriver. You can buy them at Sears/Craftsman individually for about $3.00.Best of luck to you.
