That's it. Your phone is ready to accept SIM cards from just about any GSM mobile telephone service provider in the world.
If you received a "wrong password" message you will need to insert a working SIM and reset the password to the default 8 zeroes "00000000". After that you may try this process again and it should work.

Samsung Sgh-t629 password
call your service provider or take it into the store. they should be able to help...but try this first..... when you start up the phone and it says enter password..disconect the battery...as fast as you can...it can only be disconnected for less than a second..so do it really really fast. like the snap of your fingers fast. most phones are easy to do it with. but after you disconnect it and reconnect it in the split second..it should power up by its self..and your phone should be turned on and passed the password. only tried it on motorolas...but it worked on all of them. remember disconnect and connect as fast as you can...hope it works for you!
I need puk, the one
I really want to give you PUK, but unfortunately I have no authority to generate the PUK. Please, contact you service provider or visit your provider Customers Service Office. One they know your problem, they will generate a new OUK for you.
Hope this information could help out.

did you ever get the phone wet at all? i got a few drops of water on my keypad once and the keys started acting crazy like yours...if thats the second phone that youve had like that and its still going crazy...id go with a different phone. some phones just have a defect and always will. but try taking the battery out for a minute...then boot it up and see if it works....but if the phone is defective still....call your service provider and they should be able to send you a new one free of charge if the problem isnt your fault. at&t sent me 3 new ones because i kept having problems with the same phone each time they sent me a new one. crazy phones. hope this helps!
