Replace Regulator and hose
I have a similar problem. I just spoke with a Rep from Charbroil and this model grille does not support replacement of just the hose..You need to replace the entire Valve Assembly. You can get a new Grille at Lowes for 10 dollars more than the replacement cost of the Valve....
Ignitor wire disconnected from the
Kurt, you may have to remove the ignitor button to see the male lug that the wire's female end slides onto. It will either be a copper or stainless steel lug.
Hope this helped you.
How to install the propane tank
Your correct, the tank should either srand upright in a tank holder or hang from a device buit onto the grill. If you need to improvise, using some paving stones or whatever just make sure you don't pull the gas line.
Where does the venturi tubes go
They usally go close to the backside of the flame adjusting knobs so you can adjust the amount of oxygen per fuel. Not sure what model you have but this might have been some help.
Can't hear the gas
If the tank has been in storage for the winter, it may be empty.....If it is a new tank. turn the tank off, disconnect and reconnect the gas line, turn on the tank, depress and turn the control knob on the grill and attempt to light. Another thought is that if you used a tank exchange to get a full tank, they may have inadvertently given you a empty tank for your turn in tank.
let me know what you find.

Hello I have a Char-Broil grill model# 463268706.
You not only have to have the correct thread size, you also have to have the correct orifice size. The size of the orifice varies from grill to grill which is why "universal kits" don't work on all grills. You will have to contact the manufacturer and get the correct orifice size, or get the orifices from the manufacturer. If you need help, let me know.
My Charbroil grill igniter won't work. Have to
I';m sure everyone thinks they are giving good advice, but READ THE SYMPTOMS. The guy says his ignitor doesn't "click" anymore. And most of you tell him he needs a new gas regulator. Fix his problem, don't create new ones. He needs his ignitor fixed. Maybe just a new battery? Or maybe the whole ignitor unit But certainly not a new regulator, etc, etc.
My charbroil grill isn't running at full power
Your venturi could be clogged up. clean the burner holes with a straightened paperclip, then take the burners out and do the same to the venturi that deliver gas to the burners. If that doesn't do it, you may have a bad regulator.
