hi..there is color coding on the wires..BLACK WIRE is the live wire(wire #1) which should be connected on top of the terminal supply of your oven (if vertically positioned) and sometimes to the leftmost right(horizontally positioned),then the RED WIRE to the bottom (vertically positioned),or rightmost part (horizontally positioned) and the WHITE WIRE is at the center(both horizontally/vertically positioned0 and the GREEN wire must be connected to the grounding of the unit just below/beside the terminal supply of your oven..hope this helps

hi...since the specification of your new oven is 208v 1-phase and since voltage rating on your receptacle or outlet s only 120v..it would be advisable for you to purchase an INVERTER, it is a step-up transformer that converts 120v to 220 v..in that way you can supply your oven according to its specification..thanks..

Hi fcollin,
Here is Bakers Pride website for documents: http://www.bakerspride.com/manuals.asp
Down at the bottom of this page are wiring diagram documents. Closer to the top you'll p44s. Click on that and it will tell you what phase you will be looking at, ph 1 or ph3, according to your serial number.
Then you'll find your diagram according to the phase and your voltage.
I hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,

Needs a new safety switch,
Take out the part and note any markings and numbers on the switch, you may be able to source one from somewhere else if it isn't Bakers Pride specific, also go to an electronics parts store with the switch , they may be able to adapt something or may have something similar.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.

Hi there,
most electric ovens have two elements.
in baking, the bottom element is used to maintain oven heat for to cook your food.
in broiling, the top element provides direct radiant heat to cook your food.
now the catch: most ovens will use BOTH elements at once to bring the oven up to temperature, when you first turn it on to bake something. once the oven is up to temperature, the top oven turns off, and doesn't turn back on.
here's two tests to do:
turn your oven to bake, and check in about one minute to see if the top element is on. if it is, your oven has a normal automatic preheat cycle.
turn your oven to broil, and watch to see if the top element heats up. if it does not, then there is a problem.
Good Luck!!
Thanks

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
This indicates a open/shorted oven temperature sensor and to solve this problem the sensor needs replacement. If you wan to be sure before replacing the sensor then you can test it with a voltmeter for around 1100ohms....if it reads more then this then it needs replacement however, if the reading is around or less then 1100ohms then it is the control board that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
