Normally a capacitor of rating 8-10 mfd /450 volt can be siufficient for the single phase motor and since you have not mentioned the capacity it is ideal to check on the old one after cleaning the dirt off with soap and water or with diesel oil. A hum on the motor will confirm that the capacitor is faulty and if the capacitor on applying direct AC( 230) does not pick up charge then it is faulty.

The compressor which they supplied(Samsung) is very low capacity one and it will not do the work equal to the previous compressor
As they say they use this for SM26 soft drink distributor try connecting it. And check the performance if you have the same performance as the previous compressor then it wont be the problem.If the performance is less then change it.And before connecting have a talk with the parts provider that you will return the product if you do not get satisfactory performance.If they accept for it then connect this compressor.

On an AEG SANTO 3533, the tray sits on top of the compressor. There is a short metal "tunnel" on top of the compressor. The tray has a plastic clip in the middle which goes through the tunnel and latches up on the other side. To remove, reach to the back of the metal in the middle of the tray, press the plastic clip firmly down, and pull/wiggle the tray backwards horizontally to remove. Needed a torch to see clearly on mine. One of these things that's easy once you've done it once.

Sometimes the timer jmalfunctions and the refrigerator will not go in to a defrost mode. Try unplugging it and defrost the refrig and plug it in again.

You are right. The only way to repair this is by replacing the complete door assembly. If under a year it should be covered.
