Boot up into the setup, usually F2- in the video section look to be able to make a change from Onboard to PCI ...apply-save change and exit ...also make sure you have connected the monitor to the correct area...I , like a big dummy, have often just hooked it up to the first blue socket i saw and of course...not much happens.

the f6 you are pressing is for a RAID hard drive installation during the windows xp set up. DONT press it. Let it go through the regular installation process and when you Windows XP has fully loaded onto your computer, then install the drivers that came with your cd.

It sounds like the drive is going bad. I would back up any data that is on it and look into the warranty status of the drive.

For that you will need a bootable CD with Winxp.
Before, be shure you will have an a CD or DVD with drivers for Video and Audio card, network etc, the kits instalation files for programs you use and the serial number for license 
Insert your disk with winxp instalation on cdrom or dvd unit and reboot.
When you  will begin to install windows, format the partition.

hold the power button for 10 seconds it turn off ur cpu and then start the cpu and hold F5 key u get windows boot menu select safemode try to login after login check in the controlpannel poweroptions chek in advance option see the menu down wheather it is in standby then change it to shutdown and apply the setting. and check it out it may work r else please try to repair the os.

just insert ur camera cable into line in jack in Audio (sky colour)
and listen it in ur PC

Add the account you are using to the Administrator's group.

THIS IS A NORMAL PROBLEM WITH ALL WINDOWS VERSION. YOU CAN NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. JUST RE-INSTALL THE WINDOWS TO YOUR PC. ONLY THIS WILL HELPS U.

Leave the CD in and restart and see if that completes the install.

Try it in a friends computer to see if it works there. If not, then there is a problem with the disc. I'd take the game back to where you bought it.

is that a pci sound card or the one on the motherboard ?

if it is the internal one... go to www.compaq.com and support... then enter the model number or have it autodetect your computer... install the sound driver for your operating system.

Try this, when you get to the red & white screen, down below it is instructions to press one of your F-Keys. F2, F3 etc, to get it to go to your setup screen. press the appropriate F-Key to go there. when you are there, at the bottom of the setup screen, there should be a button for loading your default settings, Load your default settings, press the keep and save button and exit. good luck.

It sounds bad, lol, here is wht you should do, go over to the AVG site, http://www.avg.com/, get either the free version or a trial on the home version, they have a version 8 that works great and is free, download it, then run your machine in safe mode, run the avg in safe mode and let it run it's course. if the program is a virus or trogen, it will be removed, safe mose is tap the f8 key as the machine starts into boot mode, tap, don't hold it down just tap it like a piano key, Good Luck

I would say yes, the power supply needs to be replaced. It is a cheap and easy fix.

One thing to check would be the capasitors around the CPU. If any are corroded or bulging then the motherboard will need to be replaced.

your power supply is possibly dead unplug it and smell the vents if you get a strange smell it has poped a capacitor or 2 try another psu from another pc loose before you buy a new one many a time a voltage spike may have done more damage depending where it got to

Select which drivers are to be installed, If you don't have this console go to windows update to see if microsoft can auto update for you,

possible its in your telephone wires, try check it with a liscensed technician of your telephone company.Maybe the wire threads are broken or even worn out.

just right click on any picture and choose option set as desktop background

Did you find your hdd in the bios when it first start . if you have no important files in the second HDD then you can directly remove partition and repartition it in the disk manangement.
