The manufacturer supplies a restore disk. Recovery partitions are nice and convenient until the problem is the hard drive itself. Step 1: Locate the "Fn" key in the lower right or left corner of the laptop keyboard. The "Fn" key typically has different colored text on it or the key itself is a different color. Locate the function (F1 through F12) key at the top of the keyboard that disables or enables the touchpad on the laptop. (1) re-install the memory. or (2) check that computer support 2gb memory, if yes then check the memory bus speed which must be support by computer. if bus speed mis-match then it would not be work. also check memory type. ddr or ddr2 .. and which is your computer memorty slot.
