these are readily available; we stock hundreds and ship many daily all over the world. the summit is bigger and pulls more BTUs than smaller barbecues so you do not want to use a small, cheap regulator. get something made in america or contact us for buying instructions.

Hi, I see you've been waiting an hour. Sorry about that. Maybe you have it fixed by now? On a new installation, it may take a while to get gas thru the pipe and out the burner. Do you smell gas when your hold the knob in? If not, hold it in until you smell gas or the burner lights. It may take a couple of minutes.

Contact weber to see if they have a conversion kit. The venturi for propane and natural gas are different sizes due to the different burning properties of the gasses.

Cooking times are dependent on much more than weight. The shape of the roast, the thickness, the uniformity, the outside temperature, the quirks of your grill... the only way to cook a roast properly is with a probe-type thermometer. You decide what temperature you want the center of your roast and cook it until it reaches that temperature. Be sure to cook over the cool side of a two-zone fire and rotate every once in awhile to even out which side faces the fire side.

probably about 3 hours but check internal temperature with a meat thermometer after 2 and cook until it gets to at least 160

If he really installed a 54 foot line instead of a 54 inch line, the line is way to lone. The gas pressure isn't high enough to supply enough gas to the grill to get any hotter.

They have adapters for this. Try Home depot

I would find an image of the specific model of Weber that you have. Maybe several images of different angles of this. Those images may reveal what has gone awry. Some of those images may be at sites selling them, others obtained by a Google IMAGES search.
