i have a propane grill and the last 2 times that i used it, i noticed that it was taking a long time to get hot. the first time it took over 30 minutes and i was only going to cook some hamburgers. this last time, it had been at least 45 minutes that i had turned on the burners on hi and it was still not quite at 400 degrees.

I purchased a "534992 Performer GRn Grill and cover 533953"for my husband on 3/31/08 from the Green Valley True Value. The grill has not worked since, the first time he used it. It was difficult to get the gas canister screwed on. One he did it worked fine. Then we could not get it to light. The hardware sent a gent over and he said the light apparatus was burned up. So we purchased another canister of gas and after one lighting the canister is out of gas.
He is very unhappy with the grill and I feel it is dangerous to heat coals in a chimmney and then lift it to let them fall into the grill.
I would like to return it as the money we spent for the electric igniter is useless. Maybe it is just us! Nevertheless, it was a "big" waste of money.
Serial number is DI 1710054.
thank you

when my Weber Genesis getsw hot, the sheet metal cover on the right hand side buckles and causes the burner handles to lift off the burner valve stems, which prevents my ability to reduce or turn off the burners. It could be a safety problem in the event of a flare up or accident.
