If the burners are clean and connected properly you have a problem with the gas regulator. You can get replacement regulators at Lowe's or Home Depot. Don't pay extra for a Weber regulator, they are all the same.
Can i drill out LP hole in cap for NG
Yes you can, but only if you know the BTU rating of the burners. Then you need to know what size drill bit to use to drill each orifice. Plus you will need to eliminate the LP regulator when you hook it up to your house's already regulated natural gas line. When you hook up any gas appliance, it needs to have it's own shut off valve installed on the gas line. I also like to install a quick-disconnect adapter after the shut off so I can release the hose from the grill and put the grill away when it's not in use. I have LP/Nat gas conversion charts available to look up drill sizes if you need to know more details. Keep in mind, that if the grill does not state the individual burner BTU ratings, but only the total BTU rating, you will have to divide that rating by the number of burners. Douglas

Propane, LP, or Natural Gas Regulator Problems

Gas is barely flowing-used to hear hiss before I
I had the same problem years ago with an old charbroil and ended up fixing by replacing the threaded female gas connector on the regulator with one of the old style male inside threaded type. This is the connector that connects the hose/regulator to the propane tank.
How to replace burners
Remove the propane tank, then remove the burner knobs, followed by the manifold. Then you can replace each of the three burners.
Step by step procedures are in your manual, which you can download at http://weber.com/help/manuals.aspx
Our grill does not lite. There is propane. Could it be the gas regulator? If so how do we test and fix it?
There are several possible problems, but I would start with the basics. I know this sounds silly, but is the gas at the tank turned on?
OK - assuming its not that easy, clean out the burner tubes to make sure spider webs or other obstructions are removed. Re-assemble and try again.
If it still doesn't lite, try manually lighting it with a lighter or match. If it lights fine that way, its likely your cross-over ignition and you can just replace it
Go to the Weber site and download your manual. It will have further trouble-shooting procedures, as well as the correct part numbers you will need for your grill. http://weber.com/help/manuals.aspx
The striker button won't light
Hello,
If your piezzo ignitor is still sparking, but not lighting the burners, then you may have one of the following problems. 1) If you have a standard push
button piezzo igniter or a rotary style igniter, check
for spark. Can you hear or see the spark? It's hard to see the spark in
bright daylight. It's easier to view the spark at dusk or dawn. It
should spark an "arc" at the burner. If not, adjust it if necessary. 2) The
igniter wire may have a short, causing the spark to arc somewhere else
along the wire and not at the burner. Replace igniter wire. 3) It's also
possible the igniter tip where it sparks has a cracked or broken
porcelain portion of the igniter, causing the spark to not arc at the
tip where it's supposed to. Replace the igniter piece. 4) Your burner may be clogged or rusted at the point where the ignitor sparks to light it. Clean the burner. 5) If your push button ignitor is not sparking at all, it may be stuck inside from being out in the weather. While pushing it, spray it with WD-40 to unstick it.
Hope this helps. Douglas
Striker won't light gas
Replace the battery if it has one.
Our cooker had the same problem and hidden on the front bottom left corner was a AA battery.
Flat as a pancake. lol
HOW DO I CONVERT FROM LP TO NATURAL?
Weber does not sell a conversion kit. They wont sell due to liability reasons. But to answer your question you need to change all the burners, controls, and you will need to remove regulator and replace with hose to ng outlet. NG has a regulator where NG is attached to house..
There is a humming noise coming out of the bbq
This noise is a cause of restricted gas flow. Try disconnecting tank and reconnecting. Open valve slowly, see if this solves problem. If problem still exists then problem could be with tank or regulator. Try tank first, if this doesn't solve problem call weber and your regulator should be under warranty and be replaced for free.
Knob froze up

Hi am welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly.
1. Does the LPG tank have gas in it?
2. Is it one gas control or more that gives you this symptom? If it is more than one and there is gas in the LPG tank then the LPG regulator can be the problem.
3. There can be debris on the face of the gas orifice where the burner mates to to the gas control selector assy. (Spider webs / grease /dirt)
4. The air hole in the burner can be partially blocked with something (same as above Grease, dirt, cob webs)
5. The holes in the burner itself can be corroded or blocked with something. (This one would be pretty obvious)
6. The gas valve 'heat control may not be functioning properly.
7. There is a very remote possibility that the LPG hose has collapsed.
I would check the orifice and the burner holes for obstructions after verifying the LPG tank is usable. Then the next suspect would be the LPG regulator.
Thanks for using FixYa,
Kelly
