Password for WDC WD5000LPVX-22VOTTO
The password was set by the user/administrator, owner and is only recoverable by entering that password. As passwords are randomly written, recovery is not practical. Western Digital can help but there will be no data on the drive when you get it going and it will be cheaper to purchase a new hdd and throw that one away. ALWAYS keep a record of passwords!

Acer 6930g recovery
Power computer on. Hold Alt and keep pressing F10 at the Acer logo. You may need a password. If you have used Erecovery before you would have been asked to create a password.
If your first Erecovery the default password is 000000
If this fails, your recovery partition is probably corrupt, and you'll either need to contact Acer for recovery disks or use a Windows 7 installation disk

Hdd is frozen password
If you can see the drive in Disk Management in Administrative tools its a good start. In a command prompt type: -
c: chkdsk / f
Note replace c: with the drive letter of the drive in . The /f switch will fix any issues.
If this fails try Testdisk (you will need to buy this) but read the instructions first. I have resurrected a few drives with these.
There are professional services to get data of drives if necessary.
As a last recourse put the drive in the refridgerator/freezer for a while and then put it back in the computer. This can give you one shot at getting the data of the drive.
