Whirlpool 24 in. DU800CWD Built-in Dishwasher Questions & Answers
I have a whirlpool du800cwdb4 and it slowly fills
Hi
Thanks
for using FixYa. To start with check the water inlet valve which is located
behind the lower access panel on the left or right side of the Dishwasher. If
the water inlet valve is bad you have to replace it, also check the main water
line for clogs/obstructions. If still the issue is not resolved then it’s a bad
float switch and needs to be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the
issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Thanks
Rylee
Whirlpool Dishwasher (DU800CWDB1)does not drain.
If you have cleaned the pump and outlet hose and it still wont work, Have you checked that the drain it is connected to is not pluged up ? Is the motor running during the time it should be draining out ? The way they work is one direction for wash and reversing for pumping out.
Dishwasher does not start to fill
Check water entrance pipe, myaybe it was bend (if you have there a tap - see it is open).
The water entrance valve is an electromagnet valve, loocated at the pipe's enterance to the machine. Test that it get power (with your meter). In case it get power and dosen't work - You can easyly open the valve and clean it (from scale or other dirt). Be aware you should disconnect the power cable from machine before doing it !!!!!
Check as well for valve's coil resistance. In case you have no resistance measurement - you should replace for a new valve.
Good luck
