Hi , i've HP ML370

It may be that the lithium battery is dead; usually a CR2032 button battery. Signs of CMOS Battery Failure Dom Tech Computer Blog Go into the BIOS settings during initial power on boot up, often F10 or F2 are common. Check the date and time, if they are off, you should be able to temporarily boot by setting the date and time but you'll have to do it every time you boot. If the date and time is off, and you set the correct date and time and it still doesn't boot, you'll want to make sure it's booting to the correct drive. When it doesn't boot, does it give you any error?

We have hp server ml370 when i restart the server its stopped on attempting boot from hard drive c and never continue

This is because either the image on the hard drive is bad (corrupted, missing boot sector, etc) or because the hard drive itself has some issue like corruption etc.If this is a mirrored raid array (two drive mirroring each other) I would try to remove one of the drives and boot again. If that does not work reinsert and remove the other drive and try to boot.regards,Mike

Proliant server running Linux hangs at "attempting

I'd say the hard disk went bad. See if it'll boot from a live cd to copy your data off of the linux drive (if it's accessible at all).

When trying to install window

The setup program does not recognise your storage controller.

HP and Dell usually supply a startup CD, that will help you configure RAID levels and partitions and start the Windows installation. If you have the supplied CD boot from it and it should work OK, if not you can download it here
