Aux buttons on any kind of cable or sat provider( Dish , Direct , Comcast, etc) its not a gurantee that a code will be avaliable. Dish has advance tech agents who may be able to assist but its not on dish's side to provide you with the code. So the manufactuer is your best bet.

If you still have this remo than that means you have outdated recivers. Also dish will not promise you that the remo will program to all devices so if you have already called a call center and no luck than your SOL. Best bet is to do a DIU (Dish N Up ) upgrade and get brand new equipment. If your equipement is more than 10 years old.

Primero tenemos que verificar que el cable que viene de la pared este localizado detr?s de su televisor. Segundo paso necesitamos verificar que el televisor este en el canal 60 o el canal 73. Si no funcionan estos pasos por favor escribanos.

that could be a hard one you have to find the search procedure to each remote and try searching the code the other thing you can do is buy a Sony learning remote and go to where that sub is sold borrow their remote for a minute and have the sony remote learn the commands that the sub remote has by putting them together with the remotes learning procedure. Or just buy a remote for that sub if they sell the remote by itself. their phone is (630) 238-4200

When you had the black screen on your TV, did you have a banner on the top of the screen displaying the channel and information about the channel? If so, then unplugging the receiver from the electrical outlet for 10 seconds and plugging back in will resolve that issue.

If you had the black screen without the banner, it is a different issue. Please let me know if you had any other messages on your TV screen (No signal, weak signal, etc.).

You should have its remote control to unlock it. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability? Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device you have.
