I HAVE A WHIRLPOOL MICROWAVE AND IT HAS RUST INSIDE THE DOOR ON THE METAL SCREEN, HOW CAN i REMOVE THE RUST?

Have to replace the inner door, some of those are available as a complete door assembly. Unit must come down and door unbolted from cavity of unit. Write down your model number, it is on the wall inside the unit. Take that number and call an appliance part store and give them that number, maybe look it up online and see what you find.

I have a 2 yr whirlpool microwave the light under the unit went out. i replaced it with a bulb that is the same watt and size. it lights up and dims on lower setting but will not shut off.

Yes, I see and repair this controller problem on a regular basis. The total cost would be $54.95. See details, instructions, and forms at my site.

New whirlpool microwave model WMH53521HZ-4, if I enter the wrong length of time on the cook time how do I clear it and enter a different time? On my previous microwave there was a clear/reset button.

On this microwave, you just need to enter the correct cooking time and power level. This will clear the previous time and power level that you entered. (This works since you need to use the Options button to do multi-stage cooking.) The manual for the Whirlpool WMH53521HZ is available on the product site: https://www.whirlpool.com/kitchen/cooking/microwaves/over-the-range/p.2.1-cu.-ft.-over-the-range-microwave-with-steam-cooking.wmh53521hz.html . Scroll down to the Manuals & Guides section or use the link and expand the section. The current link to the manual is https://www.whirlpool.com/content/dam/global/documents/201705/UserGuide-W11047549-RevA.pdf . I hope this helps. How do you tighten up a loose door handle on a Whirlpool microwave over the oven. Model number 1150XMS3

I am not sure - if there are no small plastic plugs or pieces of trim hiding the retaining screws (most sensible assumption) the door interior will need dismantling to access the screw heads. A microwave door is often made up of several layers to provide light weight with rigidity and provide adequate screening against microwave escape and if dismantling is possible (not always) it really should be entrusted to a professional or at least applying the utmost attention to detail.

My Whirlpool microwave under light won’t go on. It tells it’s full and half and off but no light

My guess is the bulb burned out. You can probably find the owner's manual online to see if there are replacement instructions.

No display on LCD panel on my whirlpool microwave

I do not know what procedure you used to replace the door, but if the buttons and display were working fine before you replaced the door then it seems that there is a plug not plugged into the control display panel. Other than that the low voltage power supply may not be providing the needed voltage for the display and only for the logic circuits which are a different voltage. With the microwave unplugged, take the cover off and look at all the connectors and make sure that they are plugged into something and none that are not plugged in. They should all go somewhere. To answer your original question, there is only one main fuse to the microwave. The circuitry in the control panel operates on low voltages +/- 5 volts or +/-12v so that part is not fused. What I recommend also is to go back mentally through the procedure you used to replace the door and that may give you a clue as to what you unplugged, although you should not have to unplug anything.

I have a whirlpool over the range microwave with an F6 error. Model # MH7140XFB-1 Serial # XCL1222267 I can't shut the door or it just continues to hum. How can I fix this?

Open the oven door. b) Unplug the microwave oven for 2-seconds and plug it back in. ... The sears manual refers to F6 error as a F6 -Microwave Relay Failure, which would explain why the motor is "humming" The relay is part of the PCB and may require you to get a new PCB The F6 error indicates a relay on the control has failed. You can try to unplug the microwave for a few minutes and then try it again. If the error repeats then the control will have to be replaced. Microwaves are not good do-it-yourself projects and I recommend a technician check and repair this problem. Microwaves are inherently dangerous to service. Internal capacitors can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is unplugged. A microwave radiation leakage test must be performed on the unit following any repair. I recommend calling a service technician to repair this type of problem.
