I have a Whirlpool Gold stackable Refrigerator/Freezer and water seems to be leaking from the freezer into the top shelf of the fridge. There is not a ton of water, but it is landing on the shelf and overflowing into other areas. The ice machine is not hooked up, so I know it's not coming from that area. The fridge is cold and the freezer seems to be working, the only problem is this leaking water. I put a towel on the top shelf in the fridge to catch the water and see how much collects, and the towel is now partly frozen. How do I fix this problem? Any help is appreciated! Thanks,

Our Whirlpool Refrigerator (model ET1FTKXKQ02) that was purchased in 2003 sounds like its motor is cycling on & off much more often than it used to. I had been told, when we had a previous Whirlpool refrigerator, that (ironically) was doing this same thing, probably would need to have the "relay" replaced. I have had a thermometer kept in this current frig to make sure the inside temperature is staying cold enough (It is). I'm just wondering, since it "turns on & then clicks off so quickly" and/or after it has been on a short time, turns off & then clicks back on in less than a minute again", what's going on with it. I don't want to make the same mistake and replace this frig too soon if it is "just being quirky"; but then I don't want to come home someday to spoiled food either! Thanks for your input/advice of what we should anticipate/watch for (or what part we should be hunting down if we should anticipate a repair soon!). I was advised by Whirlpool's toll-free phone # ....do NOT use the older (yet, unused) relay.
