Brand new & carefully unpacked from factory box. Put 1.5 liters of oil in it, tried to plug the main wire into my cooking area's electrical outlet. And made sure the basket unit was firmly plugged into its connector. But oil did not heat at all....

The pilot will light, but goes out after releasing the control knob. Detached lead to the pilot electrode, resistance characteristics similar to known good electrode.

I have spent hours on the phone and on-line trying to find a replacement filter for my Delonghi "Easy Clean System" deep fryer model D680-C One site says that the FK6 filter replaces all D6 models however, every other site I've been on quotes...
