The element burned out- Can
If you have some good DIY skills, you could probably do it yourself. The 2- biggest issues with changing the element is either having to use a ladder to reach the top of the heater or turning it on it's side to make the repair and finding the replacement part. If you want someone else to make the repair, usually propane gas providers or gas fireplace dealers can handle it for you.

Check back pressure, which should be 60 PSI when ambient temp 98 degree.If not Short of gas- find leak and arrest. And do gas charging. Even due to indoor coil dust blocked also e4 arise. Clean the coil and reset it
